We love hearing what you have to say, so please do let us know about your experience with Jonathan. Here’s some of the great feedback we have already received:
“We are just back from five days skiing in the Alps almost exactly nine months since my operation for the ACL reconstruction/hamstring graft. I wanted to report that everything is great and despite a slightly ‘wooden’ first day during which I had to ’spot’ every turn, by the end of the week I was able to see distinct day on day improvements to the proprioception such that we were able to crank up the intensity, speed, technical content and duration. I am feeling very confident in both the surgery and the rehab. I wanted to thank you for the care and diligence you have taken in my recovery. My physioterrorist certainly earned every penny of his fee and at times I thought we were going to be stuck, but persistence pays in this game. Many thanks to you once again.”
“I ruptured my ACL in 2010 and spent time researching surgeons, until we came across the Fortius Clinic and Jonathan Webb. I can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions my team and I have ever made for my career. I was only 17 and had never had an injury before so I was unsure whether I would be returning to skiing at a competitive level let alone at all.
I put my trust in Jonathan Webb and his team and I wasn’t let down; the care I received in the consultant room and the hospital was great, you couldn’t have asked for better. Jonathan Webb signed me off at 5 and a half months post operation and my knee feels stronger than it was before, most people said it was all down to how hard I worked on my physiotherapy but I believe it was because of the surgeon I had and the care I received.”
“I ruptured my ACL in 2012 and I selected the Fortius Clinic and Jonathan Webb through association of my sister. I was only 16 but I had every faith in Jonathan Webb and his team before I even had the first consultant appointment. He explained every minor detail about my injury to me and made sure I understood and that I felt comfortable before the operation. If I had any worries during my rehabilitation he was always on the other end of the phone or an email to answer my questions.
I was right to have put my faith in him and his team as my knee is stronger than it ever was and I was signed off at 5 months post operation. I know I recovered this quickly because of the quality of my surgeon Jonathan Webb and his team. The care and attention I received throughout the whole process was outstanding and you could not have asked for better.”
“I have been meaning to write to Mr Webb as it seems he has cured me! Last time I went to see him I was still in pain and hadn’t done any sport for two years. I am now back in the gym every day, am playing rugby again (although I’m not quite as good as I was a couple of years ago), I’m really involved with the rugby club again, I’m looking forward to the ski season and I’m just generally really, really enjoying being active. I was starting to think I might be an invalid for ever, so I am so grateful to Mr Webb – we got there in the end!”
“On the 30th May 2014 you performed an ACL reconstruction on my then 14-year-old son. We came to see you again in November, by this point he had recovered well and had been successful in trials for the Bristol Rugby/Bristol Schools program. If you recall, we promised to send you a photograph if or when he ever got to wear a Bristol shirt. Please find attached a photograph of him at his first Bristol game against Gloucester in February and another for Bristol schools/county against Somerset, in which he scored two tries. His knee is better than ever and he’s enjoying every moment of every opportunity. He’s traveling to Truro this week to play against Cornwall. Hoping this is the start of a great future in rugby.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all you have done.”
“I would like to express my profound gratitude to you. Your surgical skills, natural empathy, care, encouragement, and support over the past five years have been invaluable. Many, many thanks – you are a star!”
